My initial body of work in sculpture took the form of freestanding ceramic and wood pieces, ranging in sizes from one to nine feet in height, and many of them were completed while I was at graduate school. I have continued to make some Fine Art sculptures on a very limited basis, but I see my sculptural work becoming an adjunct for other mediums I work in.

My recent sculptures have been in the form of small figures with detailed clothing and armor. These figures are constructed of plastic, cloth, beads, metal, clay and paint. I am using these sculptures as subjects for photography I later digitize and turn into computer illustrations to eventually accompany my writing. I also work in steel and leather, making various types of sci-fi collectible props that are a part of my business, Advanced Light Weaponry.
